# Welcome to the TokenDAO!

## What is the TokenDAO?

TokenDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) for the management of smart contracts. TokenDAO came about out of a need for simple, low-cost structured crypto products in the DeFi space. 

### Mission, Vision, & Goal

TokenDAO’s mission is the prudent management of smart contracts with a focus on investment management. We want to make crypto easy to buy and hold with professionally managed low-cost strategies anyone can invest in. Our vision is to become a recognized player in the asset management space within DeFi. TokenDAO’s goal is to contribute to the adoption of DeFi by creating structured crypto products anyone can use.

* **TokenDAO Core Portfolio -** The TokenDAO Core Portfolio (TCOR) is a strategy providing long-term core exposure to the performance of the Layer-1 (base network) cryptocurrency market.
* **TokenDAO Stablecoin Yield Index -** The TokenDAO Stablecoin Yield Index (TYLD) is a strategy providing long-term core exposure to interest-bearing stablecoins. 
* **TokenDAO Core Polygon Portfolio -** The TokenDAO Core Polygon Portfolio (TCORP) is a strategy providing low-cost, long-term core exposure to the performance of the overall cryptocurrency market deployed on the Polygon blockchain.
